Getting #WheelyCreative with George at Asda, and WIN a 14 inch Disney Frozen Bike Posted on May 11, 2016January 6, 2022 By Becky As you may have seen from my various social pages, it was Sasha’s birthday yesterday, and what better gift for a Frozen-mad four year old, than a set of Frozen wheels! The lovely people at George at Asda sent us this awesome 14 inch Frozen bike, and asked me to get #WheelyCreative and dress the gorgeous bike up- something that I thoroughly enjoyed! This was quite a challenge though in some ways- how do you style a ‘wintery themed’ bike in the glorious warm spring weather that we’ve been blessed with this past week or so? I decided to combine spring with winter and create a snowy-inspired floral and honeycomb pom-pom display, by using what nature has provided us in our garden, and with a selection of crafty bits and bobs (also from Asda). Firstly, I trimmed off some beautifully fragrant Viburnum from the bush in our garden to make a background of ‘snowballs’ for the bike. Using white sticky tack, I then sporadically spaced out the little clusters of flowers on the wall, and hid the white sticky tack once they’d been attached, using leaves. I then created some giant snow balls out of honeycomb balls using this ace tutorial from Mr Printables, and placed them around the bike, and used Sasha’s Olaf toy in the little seat at the back of the bike. The birthday scene was set… and was effective yet easy to create- my favourite kind of styling! George at Asda have some fabulous children’s bike in stock at the moment- have a look at some of these and make sure your little one is all set to go for a spin this summer 🙂 Our two absolutely love biking, and it’s such a great way to get fresh air and exercise as a family. We can’t wait to go on even more trips now! I’m giving one lucky reader the chance to win this very same 14 inch Frozen Bike, worth £120, for ages 3 years plus, complete with little back teddy seat as shown, and it also comes with stabilisers and a front basket.
