Hi! My name is Becky, and I live on the South-East London/Kent borders with my husband, Adam, and three children who are 9, 8 and 3. I am a the owner of a one-woman digital agency, blogger, and interiors and travel enthusiast, who strongly believes that you can never have enough coffee! Welcome to my blog…
I decided to start my blog in 2013 as a way of recording our lives, life with young children, crafts and activities, and over the past few years it has also expanded to feature more of my loves and passions, in particular my love for creating and renovating our second family home, that we bought as another project in October 2016, as well as our current renovation project (bought May 2019).
On The Spirited Puddle Jumper you can find a healthy mix of family life, running and doing up a family home (I am renowned for being anally-organised among my friends!), crafty stuff for big and little people, our adventures (both here in the UK and further afield), and probably the odd post about trying (and sometimes failing) to juggle all this!
I love writing and photography, having studied for a broadcast journalism degree, and this space has become a virtual home and creative outlet for me.When I’m not involved in any of the stuff mentioned above, I’m spending time with my family, out with friends or planning our next project or adventure.
I’m also partial to cake and have an unhealthy cheese obsession!
So, thanks for dropping by 🙂 I’d love to hear from new readers, bloggers and brands alike (see my ‘work with me’ page for more info!), so please do feel free to leave a comment.

Hi There!
I follow you on IG and have looked at your blog page and think it’s fab!
I’d love to do my own blog (photography, travel, family, fashion etc) but don’t know where to start…?!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Keep up the good work!
Cx
Hi Ceri, thanks so much for your lovely comment 🙂 if you let me know your email address I’ll send you a few tips to get you started!
Hey Becky,
I’m a regular on your blog, the articles on interior design are my favourite!
I found this article about how to paint walls with an ombre effect, and I think your readers will like it:

Let me know what you think of it,
Shanon
I’m just reading more about your blog after the #HomeEtc linky and am now wondering if we’re neighbours?? I too live on the SE London/Kent borders, I’m in Grove Park/Bromley…love all your interiors posts X
Hi!! I came across a post you wrote on someone else’s blog as I was on the hunt for the answer “Do I have baby number 3?” You wrote that you were in the same boat. Now I see you have baby number 3! Did you do a post about it and I couldn’t find it?! Would love to hear how you made your decision!
Hi Katie, so sorry I didn’t see your comment sooner! I didn’t write a post I don’t think about whether or not to go for a third, but I wrote a couple afterwards once we’d had him if they might be of any help? https://www.spiritedpuddlejumper.com/how-im-finding-having-3-children-4-months-in/ and this one https://www.spiritedpuddlejumper.com/what-having-3-children-is-like-1-year-on/
I think we just decided in the end that we’d probably regret more not having a third and then always wondering ‘what if’ and we definitely made the right decision! He’s just fab and the big two adore him, and I love seeing them all together despite it being hectic at times. I know that I am ‘done’ now. If you have any questions let me know x
