Thanks for stopping by!

Becky Freeman Lifestyle (also know as The Spirited Puddle Jumper) is an Award Final-reaching Family Craft, Interiors, Travel and general Lifestyle Blog, (Finalist MAD Blog Awards in the ‘Best Home and Interiors Blog’ 2015, BIB Awards 2016 ‘Best Arts, Craft and Design Blog’, Amara Interiors Awards 2016 for Best DIY Blog, 2017 & 2018 Best Lifestyle Interiors Blog.)

Becky loves to write about family life in London with 3 children, the family home, crafts and activities for little ones, family food, family travel, product reviews, and life in general as a mum trying to juggle it all!

As well as all things family, Becky also loves to blog about interiors, hobbies, crafts and more ‘grown up’ lifestyle topics.

“I adore writing about my passions, particularly interiors, my family, and travel, and put my everything into my posts. I love how blogging enables me to tell a story, through words and through my (hopefully!) much-improved photography. When I started blogging, I had no idea it could become a wonderful part time job and lead to other opportunities.”

She has also guest posted on company blogs, had nearly 1 million profile views on Pinterest in December 2019 alone,  appeared in Interiors & lifestyle magazines, written for publications including The Guardian, and appeared on Channel 4’s ‘Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas’ winning her category of Christmas table styling!

“As a family we have been lucky enough to work with some household names and appeared in some fantastic campaigns for brands, as well as champion smaller businesses and projects”

So what are we all in to?

My main passions are interior design, cooking and crafting, although Stepford Wife I ain’t! I also love travel, fashion, photography, home organisation, going to gigs, spa days, tennis, reading, current affairs, film and comedy, and attempting to get fitter and run that 10K! When I’m not writing this blog I run my own Digital Marketing Agency, working with a variety of start ups and SMEs to help them be seen online.

Adam is my husband, works in telecoms and is sports mad, managing and playing in a successful (I have to say that 😉 ) local football team. He also loves CPFC, cricket, golf, tennis, and to be honest, will get glued most other sports if they appear on the telly. He has a slightly dubious penchant for pastel clothing, but has great taste in wine, amazing teeth and can make me laugh and smile like no one else. 🙂

F is 11 and in now in year 7 at secondary school, which he is enjoying. He is football obsessed, and generally very sporty, also enjoying tennis, cross country running and swimming. He loves reading, science & nature, playing Mario, Minecraft and FIFA on his Switch, cooking and baking and exploring London. Sensitive, clever, kind and with tons of energy, we are very proud of the little guy that he’s becoming.

Sasha is 10 and the little firecracker of the family, and is in year 6 at school. She loves Football, and plays for both her school team and a local girls club, and can also be found down at the stables horse riding and mucking out as much as possible! She also enjoys doing hair (she is amazing at this for her age!), drawing, crafts, playing Minecraft, tennis, cross country running, gymnastics, and riding her bike, plus she has a wicked sense of humour that is beyond her years, and scares me with how ‘knowing’ she is sometimes. She is also really into slime & all things scientific and medical, and wants to be a doctor when she grows up!

Arlo is our awesome 5 year old, born June 2017, and is the final piece of our family jigsaw! He’s a real mix of laid back and crazy (he climbs everything and we have to watch him like a hawk!), absolutely loves animals and dinosaurs, Star Wars, building with Lego, playing with his wooden trains and track, and is already mad about playing football (good job he’s been born into the right family). He recently started year 1 at school, and is thoroughly enjoying it.

As a family we are pretty adventurous and adore getting out and about and exploring our home city of London, as well as the rest of the UK. Now the children are getting a bit older, we intend to start throwing a few further afield trips into the mix! Pre-children Adam and I were both keen travellers, and have visited countries as diverse as Cuba, Thailand, South Korea, Italy, the USA and France to name a few. However, it’s not just hopping on the plane that floats our boat- we always have a huge UK ‘Bucket List’ of places we’d like to visit.

What can you expect from us?

With a loyal readership and a social following of 29K+, your brand will be seen by readers who are predominantly interested in children’s crafts & activities, days out, family interiors, travel food and lifestyle, and who are likely to be parents themselves (although I have many child-free readers, or ones with grown up children, who still enjoy the blog!).

I’m hardworking, loyal, creative, and with a journalistic and digital marketing background, can create honest and relatable content for you that resonates with my readers. As a family we’re outgoing and up for (almost!) anything, and are always willing to consider events and partnerships that we feel suitable for us and our 3 little ones.

So what next?

Please do get in touch if you think our fun-loving family would be a great fit for you or your brand. We are always open to new ideas and experiences and different ways of working, whether it’s sponsored posts, reviews, brand ambassador roles, press trips, or another interesting idea.

Hope to hear from you soon!

I am a psychoanalyst in NY who enjoys your blog. I have an upcoming book, Unlocking Parental Intelligence: Finding Meaning in Your Child’s Behavior, described below with my bio. I was wondering if you would like to receive a book from the publisher and write a review for your website.

Let me know if you’re interested and the address you’d like the book sent to.

    Book Description
Why do children do what they do?
    What’s on their minds?
How can parents know their child’s inner world?

Unlocking Parental Intelligence lifts the curtain on these questions by helping parents become “meaning-makers” who understand the significance behind their kids’ behaviors. With five enlightening steps, parents will solve problems by learning what their kids think, want, intend, and feel. They will see actions as communications. The challenge is to understand their messages.
Parental Intelligence helps parents as they wrestle with the common and sometimes desperate vexations of family life. Experienced psychoanalyst Laurie Hollman, PhD, explains Parental Intelligence through compelling stories of parents who view distressing behaviors as catalysts for change by transforming them into open exchanges of ideas and feelings. Parents and professionals alike will find a new empathic approach from this uplifting book that will reshape families’ lives and guide them through all stages of typical and atypical child development.
