Exciting times- my 3 pages of fame!

Moving on from my slightly sombre post yesterday, I have some exciting news! For those of you who don’t know already, I’m in this month’s Style at Home Magazine, awkwardly posing with a soap dispenser and showing off my toilet (among other things)! Okay, so I’m actually showcasing our family bathroom, which was one of the first rooms to complete when we started renovating our home 3 and a half years ago. 

‘Style at Home’ is a magazine that I’ve been buying for a long while now, so when an interiors writer got in contact earlier this year and asked if I’d like to be featured in the mag, I did a little happy dance. It sounds so silly, but I’m still pinching myself that I’m ACTUALLY IN IT and that someone actually liked my bathroom enough for it to be considered good enough for such a popular interiors publication. I mean, this sort of thing doesn’t happen usually, right?! I know I don’t need validation from anyone else, and I like my bathroom anyway, but it still feels amazing as a largely interiors blogger to now put this on my ‘CV’. 

It’s something else awesome that blogging has brought me, and when things like this happen I feel very grateful and it spurs me on to keep going.

Aside from myself (obvs) there are some other brilliant features this month, so if you’re near a newsagents do go and grab yourself a copy!
