Germany’s finest reaches the UK: Introducing Bruno Mattresses

Posted on September 14, 2015August 13, 2021 By Becky

As someone who is always looking for the holy grail that is GREAT SLEEP (not easy with two bed-hopping small people), it has occurred to me recently that we have had our current double bed mattress for years (it was with Adam before even Adam and I existed as a couple, so a LONG time!).

What with getting a beautiful new bed recently for our loft room (more on that soon), it’s probably about time that we invested in a new mattress too. As someone who also gets pretty excited by the latest in homeware and the technology behind it, I was pretty chipper to be approached by Bruno Mattresses, a German company rapidly expanding Europe-wide, and who have now hot-footed it over to the UK to impart their mattress wisdom with us (it’s often the Germans who seem to be one step ahead of us with this sort of stuff, right?!).

So what makes these so special, and how can they help me get a better night’s kip?

I’ve been waking up rather stiff of late, although this may or may not be to do with a starfish-like 3 year old), so if something can relieve this, I’d be keen to know!

  1. Velvety cotton cover

The cover is made of 100% cotton and has a discrete zipper enabling machine washing. The climate fibers provide optimal ventilation during sleep.

  2. Latex layer of 100% natural rubber

Under the cotton cover there is a 3 cm thick, air-permeable surface of 100% natural rubber. This layer has an excellent air circulation and ensures optimum weight distribution.

  3. 7-zone special special PU foam core

The foam core has seven zones with height of 20 cm and is suitable for people between 50 kg and 110 kg. This high density ensures a very long lifespan of the Bruno mattress.

With Bruno there are no degrees of firmness. Thanks to their sophisticated weight distribution formula, the Bruno mattress adapts optimally to your body as long as you weigh between 50 kg and 110 kg. Regardless of your sleeping positioning – the Bruno will provide you with the best support and keep your spine straight.

Here are what some happy customers have to say about Bruno:

“I couldn’t imagine this before but this mattress supports the body in all the right places with appropriate firmness. The morning tensions are gone. Many thanks.” – Regina Vaughan

“For months I peeled myself off the bed each morning. After my first night on the Bruno, this was no longer an issue! I am wide awake, can effortlessly stand straight up and start walking without limping. Simply a dream! Moreover, Bruno came with a pack of Berliner chocolate bears with luggage and a personalised friendly greeting from the team. Thank you very much and good luck!!!” – Mel, Manchester

“Only four years with a firm brand mattress despite regular tacking, first formations began to appear. My internet search lead me to ‘Bruno’ and the positive opinions and 30-day return policy encouraged me to order. It is difficult to point with a finger what makes Bruno so different from all the other brands we tried before…but to narrow down…while lying, there are no pressure points and my body feels very balanced.” – Michael Kolassa

Sample sleep 30 nights

You can test out one of the mattress for 30 days. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with Bruno, you can return the mattress at the company’s expense.

10 year guarantee

Bruno are so confident in the quality of their product that they offer you a 10 year guarantee. If the mattress should have any faults, they will give you your money back.

Free Shipping within the UK

The Bruno mattresses are delivered throughout the United Kindgdom free of charge. The shipping takes one to three working days and is delivered by DHL or a partnering shipping company. The Bruno will arrive in a compact package.

So when was the last time you bought a new mattress? What do you think of the concept of The Bruno?

I’d love to know!

Many thanks to Bruno for collaborating with The Spirited Puddle Jumper!
