On the blog today is the second in my series of summer holiday giveaways- after all, we all need something to perk us up after a tiring day of work/child-wrangling! On this occasion, I have a pair of gorgeous Orla Kiely Multi Stem Double Oven Gloves to giveaway on the blog. Us Freemans also have a pair of Orla Kiely’s finest in our kitchen, bought kindly for us by a friend when we moved into our old house 5 and a half years ago, and I can vouch for the quality as well the design, as they are still going strong now!

    I knew lasagne would be a popular choice! It’s definitely my favourite. So comforting. I wanted to opt for something a bit different, like a pilaf, but who doesn’t drool at the thought of lasagne made exactly to your own taste!

    50-clove Garlic, Lemon and Thyme Roast Chicken. The garlic is cooked in its skin and is lovely, sweet and mild so no need to be worried about garlic breath and an overwhelming flavour. Smoked garlic is even more delicious!

    My favourite is beef stroganoff, althogh you do start it on the hob. Although traditionally made with brandy our take on it is to make it with dry white wine. A family favourite.
