Summer Styling with Damart – COLLABORATION Posted on July 1, 2022March 27, 2026 By Becky Whilst I love a good pair of jeans and fitted joggers, come summer I am definitely a fan of a dress or floaty skirt. My wardrobe has a healthy supply of them (ask my husband!), so when Damart got in contact and asked if I’d like to try a couple of their summer skirts, I jumped at the chance! Damart have been creating great quality style to love since 1953. As a brand they are constantly developing their collections, focussing on fun, vitality and comfort. Using quality fabrics and sustainable practices, they aim to bring you feel-good clothing. The first skirt I road tested was the Print Pleated Skirt – I love the pattern, and the stretchy waist means that you can tuck into a good meal out (or in!) and still feel super-comfy. The cut is really flattering, and what I love about this skirt is the fact that it doesn’t crease easily, meaning that you can have a full day out and about, or even scrabbling on the floor with the kids and still look great at the end of the day. This skirt will be perfect when we go on holiday to the South of France next month, and I can see that it be perfect for taking me from beach to restaurant. The second skirt that I was lucky enough to receive from Damart was the Button-through Print Skirt, which I absolutely LOVE! The print is so cool and the skirt can be dressed up or down depending on the footwear that you choose. I’ve had a few compliments about this one already (which is nice), and like the other one is has a stretchy waist at the back which makes it really comfy, and also doesn’t crease easily. I found that the button-up aspect of this skirt makes it look quite smart, and it’ll be another one that I bring on holiday with us for the evenings. At 5ft 5, I’ve found the skirts are the right size length-wise, although if you are shorter they might be a little too long for you. You can wear them with trainers (as in some of the pics above), and they also look cracking with a pair of flat or heeled sandals #winning Damart is part of Damartex and is apparently thriving in Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the USA, as well as France. Along with partner companies in Australia, Cyprus and Spain, they help to keep over 10 million happy customers looking fabulous!
