Drawing Interior Design and Décor Inspiration from Incredible Hospitality Venues from Around the World

Posted on November 13, 2025 By Becky

There’s a lot to learn from the hospitality sector when it comes to interior design and decor choices. The most popular and prestigious venues have gone all-in on creating a very specific experience that’s both awe-inspiring and welcoming. When you enter these places, they want you to be dazzled and tell your friends and family about what you’ve seen.

While you don’t necessarily have to be so grandiose, there are little design preferences that can certainly be drawn from to offer your interior design plans an extra touch of class. Doing this also lets you tap into proven concepts for design, colour matching, and more. Now, there are a great many venues around the world that’re trying to leave an exquisite and lasting impression on you. So, these are some of the best that you should explore first.

Amanjena, Palmeraie

A luxury hotel resort in the Palmeraie suburb of Marrakesh, the Amanjena is perfectly positioned for visitors to explore the UNESCO-protected area and where two rivers meet the Sahara desert. Even with this and a view of the Atlas Mountains in the background, the hotel’s designers went all-in on making the interior just as captivating for its guests.

Visitors to the Amanjena will be treated to the inspirations of lavish mansions within the hotel. Moorish arches and a mostly minimalistic decor policy welcome you to the resort. Moroccan tiles are, perhaps, the most eye-catching features within, but they’re used sparingly enough to uphold the meaning of the name of the venue, which is ‘peaceful paradise,’ within the neutral and pale peach colour scheme.

The Bellagio, Paradise

Easily the most iconic of the vast array of massive hotel resorts in Paradise, Nevada, The Bellagio never fails to dazzle its guests. From the fountains out front to the interior inspired by the Italian destination it’s named after, every inch of the venue can inspire interior design ideas in different ways. In the restaurants, you can spot Pablo Picasso paintings. Then, there’s the casino floor, teeming with eye-catching designs.

The centrepiece of the whole resort, you’ll find an array of floor designs coupled with different carpet schemes, giving a collection of matching ideas to run with. Then, there’s the lighting and bright colour scheme around the room. It’s this design that’s showcased within the hotel’s official live table games streamed to the online casino. They take place from within The Bellagio itself, so you can get a peek at the design while playing roulette online.

Clos Maggiore, Covent Garden

For something truly enchanting, featuring an array of natural infusions and beautiful flowers, one of the best places that you can go is Clos Maggiore in London’s Covent Garden. Like the Bellagio, the British restaurant draws heavily from Italian inspirations, but this time the focus is on the rustic neutrals and natural tones of Tuscany. Surrounded by sprawling plants, it’s now seen as one of the most distinctive and romantic restaurants in the city.

Stepping into any of these venues will give you a sense of awe and might just inspire your next interior design and decor plan. You don’t want to copy everything, but you’ll find plenty of inspirational matches and ideas around them to create a superb space of your own.
