There are few things more frustrating in life than a problem with your car. Not only can car issues interfere with your life and stop you from getting where you need to go, but they can also be stressful and often expensive to resolve. Worn Out Brake Pads & Tyres

A lot of car issues stem from general wear and tear and both the brake pads and tyres are susceptible to this. You should also check your tyre tread depth on a regular basis and replace tyres well before they reach the legal minimum trade of 1.6mm otherwise you could face a fine of £2,500 per tyre and points on your license.

Worn Out Clutch of Dead Battery

A worn-out clutch is another common issue that motorists face. Again, driving gently with smooth gear changes will help to prevent this issue from occurring but some wear is inevitable. There are a few clear signs that your clutch is in need of attention, including strange noises when you press the pedal and the clutch sticking or vibrating when you press the pedal. Having trouble shifting gears is another clear sign that the clutch needs to be looked at.

Car batteries usually last around 50,000 miles, so it is a smart move to replace your car battery before you reach this number to avoid a dead battery. You can take your car to a garage for this but it is also a task that you can do at home by yourself.

Air Conditioning Faults

You certainly do not want any issues with your air conditioning during the summer months, but issues can arise. If you find that your air conditioning does not work as well as it used to or it has stopped entirely, you can get an air con service to take a look at it and restore it so that you can keep your car cool and comfortable in summer.
