So… I’ve bitten the bullet, and have booked my ticket to attend Britmums Live at the end of June (eek!).
Britmums is the UK’s biggest collective of lifestyle bloggers and social influencers. I’m popping my Britmums cherry at the two day event, and i’m feeling quite excited to meet other bloggers, plus attend some of the fantastic blogging workshops on offer. On the Friday night, there is an awards night going by the name of the BIBS (Brilliance in Blogging), that celebrates and recognises all the hard work put in by fellow bloggers.
Britmums give you the chance to vote for your favourite blogs in one or all of the 16 categories, which are as follows:
Fresh Voice, Food, Inspire, Social Media, Writer, Photo, Video, Travel, Family, Style, Laugh, Crafts, Health, Innovative, Commentary & Campaigns and Outstanding.
It only takes a few teeny tiny minutes to nominate, and you don’t have to be a blogger to cast your vote (however, you can only nominate once).
So, to cut to the chase… if you are enjoying reading my new blog so far, then I would LOVE it if you would consider voting for me in the ‘Fresh Voice’ category!
This award celebrates, and gives a bigger voice to, fellow blogging rookies with blogs under 18 months old. My little blog is a relative baby at 6 months old (aaw), so would appreciate all the votes it can get!
If you would like to nominate ‘The Spirited Puddle Jumper’ then please click here.
To make life easier for you (because i’m nice like that ;-)), here are my blog details in case you need them:
Blog Name: The Spirited Puddle Jumper
Blog URL: https://www.spiritedpuddlejumper.com/
Bloggers Twitter ID: @SpiritedPuddle
Bloggers Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
You then can choose a post of mine to link to, and let them know why you would vote for this blog.
Nominations close on the 12th April 2014 and the shortlist of the 16 bloggers in each category will be announced on the 29th April, 11 from public nominations and 5 chosen by Britmums.
You don’t have to vote in any of the other categories of you don’t want to, but since it’s always nice to support other blogs, here are some that I enjoy:
Red Ted Art
Real Housewife of Suffolk
Oh You Pretty Things
Why Mummy Why
You’re So Mummy
So there you have it. And whilst i’m not in any way an advocate of bribery, I promise to buy anyone who votes for me a gin. And make them a cake…
