My latest reading pile – What I’m reading so far in 2019 Posted on January 31, 2019August 13, 2021 By Becky One of the things that I’ve been saying I am determined to do more of this year is to read, and when I say ‘read’, I mean actual books! Last year in between sleep deprivation and other distractions I managed a measly number, but I find that once I’m back into reading there’s no stopping me, and I find it such an enjoyable and relaxing hobby. It certainly beats watching mindless drivel on the TV on an evening, or messing around on my phone! I used to read loads, and have tons of books that we’ve enjoyed on shelves in our living room, and I felt it was time to add a few more. I know many people use kindles now to read on, but in my opinion you can’t beat a ‘proper’ book to hold and flick through. My aim this year is to read two books a month, so 24 in 2019. Doable? I’m not sure, but I’m going to give it a good go! Above are some of the books I’ve either just read or are on my reading pile for the next couple of months- what are you reading right now? I’d love to hear your recommendations, and also if anyone of you below to a book club, either in ‘real life’ or online somewhere… Read some of my other Lifestyle posts HERE BeckyMeet the award-nominated UK lifestyle blogger behind Spirited Puddle Jumper – a mum of three living in South East London! Ooh I might look for that on Facebook, it’s always nice to discuss what you’re reading and makes a solo activity more of a group one. I’m in a what’s app group with some of my mates and most of us read similar if not the same things so we can often discuss there if reading at the same time! Reply
