Insurance valuations tell the story. Agreed value policies require regular inspections and photos. Insurers know exactly how much condition affects value, and they adjust coverage accordingly. A car that’s slipped from “excellent” to “good” condition might see its agreed value drop by 20% or more.

Classic car ownership comes with responsibilities that many buyers don’t fully anticipate. The romantic image of a vintage sports car or elegant saloon sitting in the driveway doesn’t account for what’s really happening to that vehicle day by day.

Those awards come in the form of higher prices, faster sales, and buyers willing to pay premium money for vehicles they know have been looked after properly. The alternative is watching value evaporate while repair quotes pile up.
