Substance-Free Methods to Feel More Energetic

Posted on November 29, 2024 By Becky

Is there anyone among us who wouldn’t love to feel more energetic? Work, home and the kids are enough to drag us down sometimes, and it’s only natural to turn to the wrong things for energy. So-called energy drinks, power bars and nootropics aren’t good for you and don’t actually provide any extra energy. So, here are some natural methods, such as chakra work, that you can try.

Earthing to Realign Energy

What the heck is earthing? Earthing is a natural way to sync and realign your energy by connecting to nature. It is believed that the planet provides us with the energy we need to sustain our power levels. So how can you try this? One simple method that people swear by is walking barefoot on soil or grass. But if you aren’t the outdoor type, BeGrounded has plenty of products that can help on your newfound earthing journey towards a healthier lifestyle.

Massages, Saunas and Bubbles

Holistic therapies are among the most trusted alternatives for energy. When you have sore and tired muscles, it can be because of low natural energy. And you can have low natural energy because of sore and tired muscles! Sleep and rest play a critical role. But sometimes they aren’t enough. Regular massage from a professional is effective for muscle pain relief. However, we don’t all like to be touched by a stranger! Steam and hydrotherapy are also beneficial.

Feel More Energetic with Chakra Work

You may or may not have heard of chakras and chakra work. The practice of chakra alignment is believed to be up to 3,500 years old and comes from the Indian yoga Veda texts. There are 7 chakras in the human body, and they all play a crucial role in aligning your natural energy. These include:

  • Sacral Chakra
  • Crown Chakra
  • Root Chakra
  • Throat chakra
  • Third eye chakra
  • Heart Chakra
  • Naval chakra

Each chakra is responsible for a different process in the human body and mind. For example, the sacral chakra helps with sexual and emotional energy. Chakra work including alignment helps boost your mood and energy by meditating, performing yoga, breathing exercises and repeating mantras.

Organic and Healthy Eating

What you eat (and drink) has a direct impact on your body. If you eat junk, you produce junk. Poor quality food negatively affects your emotions, physical health and energy. Of course, after a lifetime of bad diet choices, this is one of the hardest things to change. Switching to nutritious and fresh organic food will provide you with much more energy and focus and relieve physical ailments. Learning to cook is also so much fun and a skill you can use for the rest of your life.

Investment in Quality Sleep

A bed isn’t just a bed! If you are feeling terrible every day, even while eating healthily, exercising and looking after yourself, it could be your sleep. Quality sleep is crucial for a healthy body and mind. If your sleep cycle is interrupted before or during stage 3, the proteins in your body cannot repair matter. So you will wake up with aches and brain fog. Nutrition plays a role. However, it will help to buy a top-rated mattress, bed and bedding to help achieve those crucial 8 hours!

Summary

The practice of earthing can help you feel more energetic without using substances. People who work on chakras also swear by methods such as yoga. However, it could be the case that your bed is preventing you from sleeping well, therefore interrupting the vital stage 3 sleep cycle.
