A Peppa Pig Birthday Party for Sasha – Part 2 Posted on May 9, 2014May 2, 2025 By Becky Good morning! Here is the second installment of photos from Sasha’s 2nd Birthday party on Sunday. You can see Part 1, HERE. Everyone arrived from 2pm- a lovely mix of family and close friends, with lots of little ones running wild about the place (prob on a sugar high from all the lovely looking crap we were feeding them) and going mad on the bouncy castle! We were SO lucky with the weather and the fact the sun was shining. Size-wise we would’ve have struggled to contain everyone indoors if it had been raining so that I feel really grateful! I was running around a lot serving drinks and the like, but it didn’t feel like a chore- I was genuinely enjoying seeing everyone having a great time and it was lovely to chat to the older members of Adam’s family as we don’t always get to see them that often. My family is tiny in comparison to his, our wedding guest list will be huge! I was especially chuffed that my Dad and eldest brother made it down from my home town, as it’s a long way to travel just for the day, but F & S love to see them. By 6pm everyone had left, and I hosed down two very tired little people (they were filthy, like they’d been down the mine or something), and by 8pm were tucked up in bed. The clear-up took a while, but was worth every minute for such a wonderful party. There was a time that would have lamented the fact that I wasn’t sitting in a pub garden on a Bank Holiday Sunday (don’t get me wrong, I still like to do that), but I didn’t feel any pangs at all. I was really, really enjoying myself! Maybe I’m a proper grown up now… A day like this is definitely the plus-side of having a late spring/summer baby- you get to have great parties like these! Crafts & Activities for Kids How to make an Easter Hat Posted on April 9, 2014May 2, 2025 Last week, I casually glanced at my kitchen calendar to check what we had on over the next few days, and to my horror, saw a piece of paper from preschool stuck on it, that stated: “You need to help your child make an Easter hat to wear”, referring to the… Read More
Crafts & Activities for Kids Easy Playdough Recipe Posted on February 24, 2015 Up until recently, I had always bought my two ‘Playdoh’ in tubs, mainly because I thought that it might last longer and would be cheaper overall than making our own playdough. Wrong! To be fair, it can be convenient to buy from a shop, but we’ve also found lately that… Read More
