Mum Style Round Up {{February}}

As someone who loves style and having a bit of fun with what I wear, I love the discussion that an outfit snap can create when shared on social media, and equally love commenting on other’s outfits. It can be hard when you’re a parent to muster up the energy to care on some days what you’re wearing (a broken night’s sleep x6 will do that to a gal!), but I must admit that if I feel happy and confident about my outfit, then it makes me feel confident and ready for anything too.

And I’m not just talking about dressing up to the nines, or wearing something totally ‘out there’ or unusual. If my face is ‘on’, hair okay and even if I’m wearing a simple skinny jeans/t-shirt/trainers that works, then it makes me feel great. These days I rarely wear heels unless I’m on a night out (running around after two small children just doesn’t work in 4 inches!), so I dress for comfort, but hopefully with a bit of a twist too.

I’m pretty rubbish at these mirror selfies and have discovered that I have an excellent ‘resting b*tch face’- I’m usually smiley and happy I promise, but smiling to myself in the mirror is a bit weird I find!

Here’s what I’ve been wearing this past month….087

***Hat – Present from friends// Coat – Next// Faux-sheep cardigan – Zara// Jeans – Mango// Bag – Accessorize***141

I’m someone who enjoys layering so Autumn/winter weather actually really suits me clothes-wise, but I have to admit that even I’m looking forward to a little more sun!

You can also shop at your favourite clothes shops (among others) for less, using the ace ‘Revouchers‘ website, where you can find over 5000 free discount codes, enabling you to shop, shop, shop even more!

Roll on spring!

      Oh thanks Em, although I’m not sure about the super stylish bit! I like these kind of posts too, I love having a nose at what people wear, I think that’s why I love Instagram so much 🙂 x

    Love the bobble hat! I’ve been wearing my bobble hat so much lately that I’m (almost!) a bit sad that spring is around the corner and it’ll get relegated to the bottom of the cupboard!
