Adopting this mindset can be a great way to prove your value and get companies to keep you long-term.

Therefore, if you can leverage some of these tools and use them in your approach to facilities management, you can demonstrate that you’re up-to-date with the latest practices. If hiring firms believe that your approach is best-in-class, they’re much more likely to keep you long-term. They may even offer you a contract, even if you provide services provisionally or externally.

Finally, the easiest way to get your foot in the door is to network. If you can attend conferences or connect on LinkedIn and Reddit platforms, then more people will get to know you and what you have to offer.
