As you may have gathered so far from this blog, one of my big passions in life is interiors, and interior design. I love the fact that you can completely change the look of where you live, on not much at all, and accessorise your home to make it really you without having to spend a fortune.
Whilst I adore spending many an evening sifting through the latest home and interiors magazines, looking at the latest trends, not much beats the excitement of finding that special vintage treasure, that one-off item that is the talking point in your home!
This is one of the reasons why I created my Etsy store, ‘What Would Irene Do?’.
Established in May 2014, ‘What Would Irene Do?’ is an online vintage crockery, glassware and homeware store, run from my home, and generally specialising in selling mid-century items. Whether it’s some dainty cups and saucers for your afternoon wedding tea, or some groovy 1960s tableware for a one-off Mad Men-inspired dinner party, I hope you find something you like!
What started as a slight interest of mine has turned into a real passion, and I am lucky to call this little business my fabulous hobby. 🙂
I also offer, for a fee, a bespoke sourcing service, whereby I save you time and money, and track down the perfect item(s) that you have been after, for the best possible price. Please do get in touch to discuss working with me.
Feel free to hop across and visit the SHOP, and have a browse around.
You can also tweet me @WWIDVintage or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to get in touch.
PS Don’t be shy if you live outside of the UK- over half my customers are from the US, Canada and beyond! Drop me a line to discuss postage costs.
