5 Industrial pieces you need for your home Posted on November 23, 2017August 29, 2023 By Becky As we are in the process still of doing up and accessorising the home we’ve now lived in for a year, my tastes are now a mix of a largely Scandi and ‘Industrial’ look, a look that is now a lot more accessible for most people and is a big trend when you look at Instagram, Pinterest etc. Whilst I love the look, it’s nice to have a few pieces that are a bit more unusual, the sort where people come over and ask “where did you get that amazing light/table/piece of furniture?!”. I love rooting through interiors websites and online stores for great items, and thought I’d show you a few things that I’ve been eyeing up here! Have a look through the sites as there are many, many more industrial homeware items that I couldn’t include in just a short post- I’d be here for hours! Urban Renewal Table Lamp This ace industrial table lamp is by online furniture and homeware store, Zurleys, and would be a great addition to any living room, study or even bedside table. I absolutely love the detail and colour of it, and this would really work well with the colour scheme in our current living room! The Industrial Coffee Table I adore this coffee table by ShabbyBearCottage on Etsy, and at £70 it’s not as expensive as you’d think going by the quality of how it looks. If it wasn’t for the fact we have a cartwheeling 5 year old child monopolising rug space in our living room, I’d move one of these into the centre pronto. The dream industrial mirror This dream dressing table mirror by Maisons Du Monde would be perfect in our bedroom, and I’m going to measure up our dressing table, as I think this could be the mirror that I’ve been looking for! The Large Wire Floor Unit If you’re looking for an alternative to a dresser or bookshelf, then look no further than this great wire floor unit by Graham and Green. I would love one of these for displaying trinkets and succulents in concrete planters to complete the look. The Concrete Bathroom look For a more inexpensive nod to the industrial look, you can update your bathroom with concrete bathroom accessories. I love items like this soap dispenser from All Things Brighton Beautiful. Do you like the industrial look? If so, what pieces do you have in your home?
