My Home Style – Edition 3 Posted on March 16, 2015August 13, 2021 By Becky Afternoon! A few hours late on the old ‘My Home Style’ post today, but it’s been a busy weekend and I’ve been on mega catch up mode this morning! Once more, Emma and I have been inundated on Instgram with so many fabulous photos, all tagged with #MyHomeStyle. There have been some interiors crackers over the past fortnight, making it hard to choose my favourites! Here is what I’ve been lusting after on my IG feed… This lamp of Lesley’s (@lesleylocket) really cheered me up, and really would add a great pop of colour to any room- I want! Katie (@mummydaddyme) is in the process of creating a shared room for her young girls. This corner of their room is just fab- I love this way of displaying children’s books! Now, I love quirky, and Zoe’s (@theditsyhouse) brilliant woolly rabbit would make a great addition to any Easter display in the home. I am SO impressed with Beth’s (@bettyandthebumps) creative skills- she made this doggy-themed picture for her bedroom out of Cavallini wrapping paper. Totally inspired! Aah, now if I were having another baby anytime soon, I would be all over Kara’s (@innocentcharmschats) gorgeous alphabet wall stickers, just lovely. This is possibly my favourite picture of the week! I am a wallpaper nut, and got so excited when I saw that Jess (@wrymummy) was sampling this ace flamingo wallpaper. What’s not to like?! Go for it, Jess, it looks amazing! I.Want. Now, I’ve seen this cushion before, but Jenny (@letstalkmommy) has confirmed that I SO want this for Sasha’s new room when she takes over our one later on this year. So cheery, and I’m a sucker for a bit of yellow! Sam’s (@thenthefunbegan) bookshelf highlights what #myhomestyle is all about- what makes a house YOUR home. And nothing makes a house more homely in my opinion then a well-stacked bookshelf! You can tell on IG that it is indeed, daffodil season, but Rachel (@theordinarylovely) comes up trumps again with her display of St David’s finest- what a creative way to display otherwise simple flowers. I am shamelessly stealing this idea! #sorrynotsorry And finally… some more creative picture making, this time from Chloe (@chloe_rushworth) who used her leftover ‘Osbourne & Little’ paper to make some cool prints for her home. After seeing her and Beth’s DIY prints, I’m tempted to start scouring the shops/online for cool wrapping paper to make my own. Oh, and great book choices here too! So that’s the round up for another fortnight… make sure you hop over to Emma and check out her choices too, and keep tagging your Instagram pictures with #myhomestyle! Thanks so much for featuring me lovely lady! I love that picture so much, but my husband is still saying, PINK? FLAMINGOES? WHAT?! So wish me luck. Love all the other pieces too, especially Jenny’s cushion. Was fab to have a boogie with you at the weekend! xx Reply
Thank you for including my daffodils. I knew those water jugs would come in handy at some point. They definitely haven’t been used for water on the dining table like I originally planned. I’m in love with Wry Mummy’s flamingo wallpaper. What a find!! Reply
