‘What Would Irene Do?’ Vintage Crockery Shop – A Preview

Posted on March 26, 2014May 2, 2025 By Becky

Good morning!

I thought today i’d show you some of the vintage crockery that i’ll be selling in my online shop, ‘What Would Irene Do?’, once I’ve got everything sorted. It’s taking quite a bit of time to clean and photograph each individual item, plus edit the pictures and do the general admin. It is especially hard fitting it in around the children, who aren’t always seeing my ‘vision’ and my need to crack on with things at certain times! Definitely a juggling act.

It’s been lovely to see all the pieces together, even though I realise that they’ll probably not be sold as such. It  gives me satisfaction that my Nan’s old crockery, plus the pieces I’ve sourced, are the right choices for  the shop. I’ve got some beautiful items, and seeing them all together confirms that they look great in a mismatched way, perfect for vintage themed weddings and celebrations.

If there is anything you like here already, then do let me know and I can set it aside for you. And please do share my blog/shop on Twitter and Facebook with anyone who you think might be keen to buy some vintage china. As I mention HERE I am always willing to try and source the perfect item(s) for somebody!

Oh, and don’t forget that 15% of all profits go the WI!

Hope you’re having a grand week so far- illness in our house is hampering attempts at getting stuff done!
