Today I’m delighted to post the first of a few home and interiors giveaways this week, and to hopefully perk you up, what with this rather rubbish July weather that we’ve been having lately (where is the sun?!).
I have always been a huge fan of anything Orla Kiely, and her iconic designs are instantly recognisable, bringing a huge colour injection to any home. We had one of her wallpaper designs in the downstairs cloakroom in our old house, and we are still loving and using some oven gloves that we were bought by a friend 5 years ago (and that are still going strong!).
So today on the blog I am giving away some bedding I’ve been waiting to get my mitts on- Orla Kiely Scribble Stem Cotton Bedding in Duck Egg and Sea Grass, available from John Lewis at the moment and what I’m giving away is worth up to a not-to-be-sniffed at £135. The lucky winner will receive 2 pillow cases from the range, plus either a Double or King duvet cover (the winner can name their preferred choice when contacted once the giveaway ends).
All you have to do is fill in the Rafflecopter below, using as many of the options as you’d like:
Terms and Conditions: Competition closes at 11.59pm GMT on Sunday 27th August 2017. Entries received after this time and date will not be valid. Giveaway open to UK residents only. Entrants must be 18 and over. Winner will be selected at random via Rafflecopter after the closing date and will be notified within 5 days of competition end. Only entrants received via the Rafflecopter widget will be considered valid. The prize is a set of Orla Kiely Scribble Stem Bedding in Duck Egg/Sea Grass as available on the website- no cash alternatives to the stated prize will be offered.

Try not to worry too much about not sleeping. Sometimes the biggest obstacle is lying awake panicking about the fact that you are lying awake!
I find that developing a “what will be, will be” attitude stops me getting stressed out over it and enables me to drop off more quickly. Think of the positives to lying awake when everyone else is sleeping. If you’re like me and you can hardly hear yourself think at times during the day, use your awake time at night as well deserved quiet time or brain space. If you don’t fear being awake, you’re more likely to be relaxed enough to drop off to sleep.
Works for me, anyway.
