Upholstering Possibilities with South West Upholstery

Upholstering Possibilities with South West Upholstery

As someone who has actually been doing a fair bit of research into upholstery lately <side eyes garish footstool that needs re-covering> I’ve come to the conclusion that I think this is something that is often best left to the professionals, despite me usually liking to ‘have a go’ at DIY and crafts a bit myself.

You see, upholstering is a skill that seems to take many years to master to get a super-professional finish, and whilst several people have said to me that I can attack reupholster my footstool myself with a staple gun, I know that with limited time and skill that my footstool will stand more chance of surviving in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing.

Enter: Bristol-based South West Upholstery.

A family-run business with 18 years experience (wow!), they’ve steadily grown over the years to become the most recognised upholstery business in Bristol (and around the UK) for their quality and expert service, and offer a wide range of upholstery, re-upholstery & soft furnishings.

Indeed, I never knew there were so many didn’t types of upholstery on offer:

With an established reputation, South West Upholstery take the time to understand your requirements with a no pressure approach (there’s nothing worse than something trying to force their vision on you, especially when it comes to home decor and the like). They say they want the finished product to be exactly how you visualised it- which is right up my street.

The company are so proud of what they do that they encourage their customers to come in and see the team at work, how they work, and view the quality of said work too.

Looking at their website, I love the fact that they specialise in different furniture pieces too, such as reupholstering Ercol furniture :
