Updating my spring wardrobe with Simply Be #Ad

Simply Be Leather Jacket

It’s that time of year when thoughts turn to putting away thick winter coats and boots, and putting together a mix of old and new clothes for an updated spring/summer wardrobe.

When Simply Be contacted me and asked if I’d like to work with them, I was intrigued, as being a size 10/12 I wasn’t sure if I was their target audience. However, on perusing their website I discovered that they cater from often a size 10 right through to plus sizes- and what I had to choose from was fab!

I knew that I wanted a few ‘statement’ pieces – whether they were bold prints, or an item that was a little bit ‘different’, as well as a classic item or two.

Here is what I chose…

The above outfit comprises of 3 items from Simply Be: The Leather Jacket, Leopard Skirt & Black Vans trainers. I’m so chuffed with the jacket as it’s nice and lightweight for spring and isn’t too ‘stiff’ or restricting. The skirt has already had a few compliments, and will be perfect to wear with sandals in the summer as well as trainers. And the trainers- I was SO surprised that Simply Be sold branded clothing and shoes, I had no idea. They have so many lovely pairs of trainers, and I’m also eyeing up some branded sportswear too for the gym from their site.

I’m always of the belief that you can never have too many jumpers and sweatshirts, and they’re perfect for days that I’m running around after 3 young children and want to chuck something on yet still look stylish. This bright pink and grey leopard print jumper instantly caught my eye and the knitted material is nice and lightweight for spring. I also love my new white chunky trainers, that are a slick nod to the ‘ugly dad trainer’ trend and go with practically anything. Plus, they’re ridiculously comfy!

My second sweatshirt from Simply Be is this black one with the leopard print star (can you sense a leopard theme for my spring wardrobe?!)- slightly thicker than the previous pink one and super-soft on the inside. It goes perfectly with jeans and my new black Vans.

If you haven’t considered shopping for your wardrobe at Simply Be before, then I definitely recommend having a browse as I was so surprised and pleased at the range and quality of the clothes. The online store will now be on my go-to list, along with a few other well known fashion store names, when it comes to updating my wardrobe.

Huge thumbs up from me!
