Rugby: Looking forward to our ‘The Clash 2019’ family day out at Twickenham & WIN a family ticket!

One of the things that I want to do more of in 2019 is mix things up a little when it comes to our days out, and become more adventurous when it comes to what we choose to do. Since the big two children have gotten older and are busy with their school lives and after school activities, we have less time for family days out, so I feel the last couple of years we have been a bit set in our ways and stuck in a rut.

So when we were offered tickets for us to hop across South London and visit Twickenham to attend ‘The Clash 2019’ family rugby day out, where Bath Rugby will take on the Bristol Bears, we jumped at the chance to go to something out of our comfort zone! Whilst Adam doesn’t play rugby himself (he’s a football and cricket man) he enjoys watching it on the telly, and I come from a rugby family who regularly attend games, we thought it would be great chance for some of our clan to come together on Saturday 6th April and introduce the children to the sport for the first time.

It’s promising to be one of the biggest sporting events of 2019, where the worlds of rugby and entertainment will once again come together for an unmissable event at the home of English Rugby. Gates open for an array of pre-match entertainment at 12:00, with the game kicking-off at 15:00. There will be fun for the whole family, and if you buy tickets they start from just £15 for adults and £5 for children, a family of four can enjoy a day out for only £40.

Not too shabby then on the old family bank balance either for such a big sporting event!

Tickets are already in high demand, so grab yours here:

Last season apparently over 61,000 supporters enjoyed a family day out with rugby at its core. Highlights will include a host of thrilling entertainment in the West Fan Village, live music (always a winner here), local food and drink stalls, Q&A’s with rugby legends, an awesome pre-match show and a top-flight Gallagher Premiership rugby match.

We’ve been so lucky to have been asked to attend, and we can’t wait to try something new and maybe bring a brand new sport onto the children’s radar. We will no doubt be reporting on Instagram stories and my other social media channels, so keep your eyes peeled on the 6th of April if rugby is your thing, or maybe if you’re curious about such a day out.

Better still, head to their website and grab your family some tickets to see the action for yourselves…or enter my giveaway for family tickets using the Rafflecopter widget below, using as many options as you’d like!
