Tea Set Washing Up

Whilst Freddie is at preschool, I often have to crack on with a few jobs, including washing up. Sasha is too small to really help with this, but is at the stage now when she wants to do what Mummy is doing, and I am definitely NOT going to discourage wanting to help with the dishes! So, I lay a large towel out on the kitchen floor, fill an old washing up bowl with warm water and washing up liquid (bubbles are the best bit in her eyes), get her plastic tea set out (best 6 quid ever), give her a sponge, and off she goes!

Yes, this does get pretty wet, but if you pop an apron on and have a change of clothes at the ready, then all is well for a good while.

This isn’t one for when you’ve got to dash out of the house in 5 minutes, but if you’re indoors for the long haul it will kill some time. Even better come the summer outdoors. Certainly one of Sasha’s favourite things to do right now!

I know this is a really old post but I’m a new reader and I LOVE this idea! I’m definitely going to try this out with Elsa. She will probably love it!
