Fantastic Oven Cleaning with Fantastic Services

It’s not often I get CRAZY excited about an email that lands in my inbox, and maybe I need to get out more, but when I was contacted by Fantastic Services offering to clean our range cooker I jumped at the chance. My 23 year old self wouldn’t recognise me now, but hey, 10 years on and I’m a lady who now owns a nice oven and damn well wants it looking clean and sparkly! 

In the run up to Christmas this is often a job that’s on people’s lists of things ‘to do’ (I have no idea why for Christmas though? It’s just ‘one of those things’ isn’t it?!). Considering I’m a pretty organised sort, I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never actually had any oven of our’s professionally cleaned, so I was looking forward to seeing what the guys at Fantastic Services could do with our current range cooker. 

Having never had a pro-clean before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised to have not one, but two guys from the company turn up to give our oven a clean. After inspecting it (it wasn’t in bad condition apparently compared to some) they reckoned it would only take roughly an hour, and then set to work. 

I hovered in the background, mainly for photographic purposes, but also to see them at work. They came fully equipped with everything needed to clean the main oven and all oven parts, and clearly knew what they were doing. My anal side liked the fact that they wore those shoe covers that you get at the pool, and covered the work surfaces, to prevent mess or dirt getting everywhere as they worked in the kitchen. 

Once finished, they showed me their handiwork, and have to say that the range was SPOTLESS, and the guys cleared up after themselves so you would never know they had even been. 

All-in-all we had a great experience, and are definitely going to factor in a yearly oven cleaning visit from now on, as let’s face it, it’s a job that no one likes and can be put off and put off! After having a look at their prices, they are very competitive compared to other oven cleaning companies, and I like the fact that their website is easy to navigate and book a service. Fantastic Services also offer a wide range of other services, including cleaning, gardening, removals and general handiwork to name but a few.
