Enjoying our Rainbow Play Climbing Frame

It’s been 6 months now since we had our Rainbow Play Climbing Frame installed in the garden, and I thought I’d give a an update as to whether or not such a big installation has been worth it (I’ve had quite a few visitors ask this!).

In short: Yes, having this climbing frame has most definitely been worth it and has totally transformed the way the kids play in the garden.

Those who have read this blog for a while might know that our current garden is in 4 big tiers, so is not conventionally family-friendly. Having had this climbing frame installed has changed this though, and the children are now really able to make the most of the space. I’m still pleased with how we customised our Carnival Clubhouse Package 2 climbing frame design (an awesome plus point of choosing a Rainbow Play climbing frame is that you can tailor your climbing frame to suit your needs and space), and each and every part of the climbing frame is used several times a week, especially now the weather is nicer.

We always knew that the climbing frame would be perfect for Arlo to grow into (at the moment he utilises the cool baby swing that we picked), but at 6 and 7 the older two are showing no signs of outgrowing it any time soon.

Indeed, the introduction of the Famous Five books to Freddie by his school have triggered the imagination and the need for a ‘den’ in the raised playhouse, as well as carting a lot of wooden play food outside to go on ‘adventures’ there!

The climbing frame is still in immaculate condition (as I’d expect to be honest), despite a lot of play, and although an installation isn’t cheap, I suspect you get much better play value for money and longevity than you would a cheaper, smaller play frame.

We’ve still got quite a bit of work to do to ‘pretty up’ our garden, but our climbing frame means that our family can really make the most of it this summer, and well into Autumn/winter too, thanks for our all-weather rubber surfacing.

We’re definitely happy climbers here!

*Thank you to Rainbow Play UK for being ace again and working with us to help make the children’s dream come true! All thoughts and opinions my own.

This looks like the most EPIC back garden play equipment! When we moved I had grand ideas of buying a frame, but alas, our space just isn’t big enough 🙁 Your kids look so happy here x
